Nottingham Forest Host Leeds United in Contrasting Pre-Season Form

Nottingham Forest welcome Leeds United to the City Ground on Saturday, August 22 (3pm kick-off).

Team News

Forest have fitness concerns over Callum Hudson-Odoi, Nicolò Savona and Christopher Wood, while Murillo and Ola Aina are also unavailable. Leeds, under Daniel Farke, will be without goalkeeper Lucas Perri and winger Gabriel Gudmundsson, both sidelined by injury, with Ilia Gruev also a doubt. Forest are expected to lean on Morgan Gibbs-White and Igor Jesus, while Leeds look to Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Anton Stach.

Context

The two sides arrive in contrasting form. Forest have won two and lost three of their last five pre-season matches, including defeats to Barcelona and Sporting CP. Leeds, by contrast, won four of their last five pre-season fixtures, including a 4-2 win over Liverpool.
